Honestly? It’s one of our favorite things to talk about—because this business has never just been about furniture or even just about design. It’s about people. It’s about experience. And it’s about creating spaces that help you truly love your home.

So here’s a little behind-the-scenes peek at how we came to be, and why we’re still here—doing things a little differently.

From Delivery Driver to Designer

Our owner and president has been in the home design industry for over 40 years—but he didn’t start out in a showroom or behind a desk.

He started as a furniture delivery driver for a small shop in northern Utah.

That’s right—he was the guy carefully carrying your new sofa into your living room.

From there, he worked his way up. First managing showrooms, then working directly with clients, helping them design homes and bring those designs to life—learning every step of what it takes to create spaces that not only look amazing but feel like home.

And through all of that, one truth became clear:

Creating a beautiful home—and actually getting it installed and finished—isn’t easy.

There were too many moving parts. Too many handoffs between vendors. Too much stress for clients. And not enough businesses focused on making it simple, enjoyable, and seamless.

A Vision for Something Better

So just over 25 years ago, he decided to build something different—a full-service interior design studio that centered around you.

The goal was simple: create a business that makes the design process feel less overwhelming and way more exciting.

And that’s how Hamilton Park Interiors was born.
