Pumpkin French Toast with Pumpkin Syrup

Pumpkin French Toast with Pumpkin Syrup
Ingredients
For the French Toast:
4 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 slices of bread
1 tablespoon butter
For the Pumpkin Syrup:
1 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon
Cooking Instructions:
Prepare batter: Whisk eggs, milk, pumpkin, sugar, spices, and vanilla in a bowl.
Heat griddle: Heat griddle with butter.
Dip bread: Dip bread in batter, cook on griddle for 2-3 minutes per side.
Make syrup: Heat maple syrup, pumpkin, spices in a saucepan.
Serve: Drizzle syrup over French toast.
