A Thanksgiving Gratitude Message: Reflecting on Family, Team, Clients & the Beauty Around Us

Thanksgiving is such a beautiful time of year to pause, quiet your mind, and reflect on all the things there are to be grateful for. Life isn’t always perfect—none of us are—but if you slow down long enough to look for the good, you’ll see there is so much beauty in this world. And today, I want to share a little of my heart and express my gratitude for the people and moments that make my life so full: my family, my team, our incredible clients, and this world we’re lucky enough to live in.

I feel truly and deeply blessed to have a family that supports me in all that I do. Balancing family life with a career—especially in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of interior design—isn’t always easy. I am far from perfect at it, but I have a husband and daughter who love me through the chaos, forgive me when life gets a little crazy, and cheer me on every step of the way.

To my husband, Erik, and my daughter, Emery:
I love you both more than words can express. Thank you for everything you do at home that allows me to pursue my passion and live my dream every single day. I am grateful for your patience, your love, your laughter, and your belief in me. You are my world, and I’m so thankful for both of you.

To my incredible team here at Hamilton Park: I am thankful for each and every one of you! Truly—our company wouldn’t be what it is today without your talent, your energy, your dedication, and your heart.

I’m also grateful for the team members who were part of our Hamilton Park family in the past. Over the years we’ve been lucky to have people who genuinely care—not just about the job, but about each other, our clients, and creating a fun, positive, productive environment. That is rare. And so, so special.

I love that I get to walk into work every day surrounded by people who are smart, happy, kind, funny, and passionate about what they do. People who make work fun. People who create memories. People who make me, and each other, laugh. People who bring out the best in one another and truly care.

To my team: thank you. You are amazing, and I’m grateful for you every single day. I couldn't do it without you!

Lastly—our clients. Wow. I am unbelievably grateful for every person who walks through our doors, sends a text or email or gives us a call, whether you're designing your own home or you're an independent designer working with your clients. We truly have the best clients. Again, full of laugher, fun and trust!

The fact that I get to spend my days helping people create their dream homes still blows my mind. Growing up, I never would have imagined this would be my career—one that allows me to blend my detail-oriented analytical side with my creative and artistic side. I’m thankful every day that I get to do this work.

To our clients: thank you for trusting us with something so personal. Your home isn’t just a project—it’s your safe space, your sanctuary, the place where your life happens. That trust means everything to me and to my team. Thank you for giving us the chance to help bring your dreams to life while we’re over here living ours.

As we head into Thanksgiving and the holiday season, I hope you take a moment to reflect on the things that bring joy into your life. Big moments, small moments, people you love, and the everyday blessings that are easy to overlook.

Make every day a great day. Look for the good. Find what you can be grateful for.
